SAO PAULO–Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer SA (ERJ, EMBR3.BR) saw its backlog of firm orders drop to the lowest level in six years in the second-quarter, as global economic slowdown impacts company’s activity.
Its backlog of firm orders totaled $12.9 billion, down from $15.8 billion in the year ago period. The company’s backlog reached the lowest level since mid-2006, when the company’s backlog reached $10 billion.
