The Mensalão Scandal is becoming a historical court case for Brazil’s judicial system. The case marks an important changes in Brazil’s previous tendency of clandestine corruption, and has brought the government to support initiatives to make understanding the scandal accessible to everyone. Brazil’s Ministério Público Federal even launched a webpage which explains the Mensalão Scandal to children, detailed with cartoons and simplified language.
